Return & Refund Policy
1. Overview
SM Marketing Solutions LLC provides digital services including web development, application development, digital marketing, analytics, and technical consulting. Because all services require time, labor, and resource allocation, our refund policy ensures fairness while protecting both our clients and our team.
By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms below.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may only be issued under the following conditions:
A. Work Has Not Yet Started — Full Refund
You are eligible for a 100% refund if no work has begun on your project.
- “No work started” means:
- No consultation completed
- No research initiated
- No milestones started
- No deliverables prepared
Refund request window: 7 business days from the time of purchase.
B. Work Started but Not Completed — Partial Refund
If work has begun but is not completed, you may qualify for a pro-rated partial refund.
Refunds are calculated based on:
- Time spent
- Milestones completed
- Resources consumed
- Any third-party costs incurred on your behalf
Example:
If 40% of the project is complete → Up to 60% refund may be issued.
C. Work Delivered But Not Accepted, Conditional Refund
If delivered work does not match the agreed scope defined in your proposal or contract, you may request a review within 15 days of delivery.
A partial refund may be issued only if:
- A material portion of the agreed work is missing
- The service does not match the documented requirements
- You provide detailed reasons and evidence
We reserve the right to correct or revise work before issuing any refund.
D. Duplicate or Unauthorized Charges
Verified duplicate charges or unauthorized transactions will be refunded 100% within 5 business days of verification.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be refunded under any circumstances:
- Third-party software or plugin purchases
- Domain registrations
- Hosting fees
- Paid advertising budgets (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
- Licensing or subscription fees purchased for your project
- Completed milestones
- Delivered work or digital files
- Services delayed due to client non-response or failure to provide required access or materials
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful delivery, clients must:
- Provide requested information, content, logins, and approvals
- Respond within reasonable timeframes (typically 3–5 business days)
- Review and approve milestones when delivered
Failure to meet these responsibilities may void refund eligibility.
5. Cancellation Policy
- For fixed-price services:
- You may cancel before work starts → full refund
- You may cancel after work starts → partial pro-rated refund. You may not cancel once all deliverables have been completed
For retainer/monthly services:
- Cancellation requires 14-day notice
- No refunds for previously completed work or hours already used
6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We strongly encourage all clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback.
If a chargeback is filed without contacting us first:
- Your project may be paused immediately
- All delivered work may be suspended
- We may provide documentation to the payment processor, including:
- Signed agreements
- Work logs
- Communications
- Screenshots
- Completed milestones
This protects both parties and ensures a fair review.
Important:
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account termination and collections action for unpaid balances.
7. Refund Request Process

Supporting details or documentation
Response time: 3–5 business days
Refund processing time: 7–10 business days after approval
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
8. Service Delivery, Milestones, and Acceptance
Most projects follow a structured workflow:
- Consultation &
- Requirements
- Planning & Research
- First Deliverable
- Revisions (if included)
- Final Delivery
- Acceptance & Closure
Once a milestone is approved, it becomes non-refundable.
If a milestone is delivered but not reviewed within 10 business days, it will be considered accepted.
9. Extraordinary Circumstances
We reserve the right to refuse a refund when:
- The client misuses the service
- The client violates terms of use
- The client requests refunds after receiving full value
- Fraudulent behavior is detected

We may update this Refund & Returns Policy at any time.
Changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
